I wanted to give a quick thank you to all those that participated in yesterdays’ Jeff Garcia/SB Skulls QB & Receivers Camp. We had a great time (see attached)! Besides it being a stand-out day to gather as student-athletes and mentors of the game of Football, the South Bay Skulls, Jeff Garcia, and Bruce Gradkowski believe wholeheartedly that this is also the beginning of teaching the “give back” part of being a well-rounded athlete. We believe all athletes today witnessed first-hand the commitment that is a must in being “on your game”, training hard, staying focused, and while enjoying the game of football. To the morning “youth group”, we hope the experience was enjoyable from an exposure standpoint, realization that sports is meant to be fun, but that we work to be better. To the “youngers & olders”, we know you will go forward and work harder at what you do. We encourage you to have a passion for life, continue to work hard in the classroom and on the field, and good things will come! Whether this be in grade school, high school, or as you embark upon college, take these lessons with you! Remember it is how we act when we are not being famous, which Jeff has aptly displayed yesterday, that counts most!

We hope this is the beginning of a nice annual collaboration, something to build bigger and better upon, and to have many more young athletes enjoy next year! South Bay Skulls – Players, Coaches, and Team Supporters, we are very grateful for your commitment level in helping Jeff and “us” collectively as a group to “pass it on!” This is what it is all about. My personal philosophy has been simple, to live in this world as true as you can with a passion for good deeds, to give to others through example, and leave the world in a better place than you started! Football is a great game and a fantastic sport for our youth. We hope it brings you the joy and energy it has brought us as your son grows!
